Budweiser x Kappa
To celebrate Budweiser's 50-year partnership with the FIFA World Cup, we brought together Budweiser and Italian sportswear brand Kappa for a first-of-its-kind collaboration rooted in football culture and nostalgia. Designed under Kappa's creative direction, the five-piece collection introduced Budweiser into the fashion and cultural space, reimagining the brand through the lens of football heritage and European culture.

Brand Matchmaking
The project began by defining Budweiser's cultural ambitions around its 50-year partnership with the FIFA World Cup. Rather than simply celebrating the milestone, we identified an opportunity to tap into the nostalgia of football culture, drawing on the rituals, memories and terrace culture that have shaped the tournament over the past five decades.
With this strategic direction established, we curated a shortlist of collaborators capable of authentically bringing that vision to life. Kappa quickly emerged as the ideal partner. Renowned for its heritage in football and iconic archive of vintage kits, the brand's legacy within the sport perfectly complemented Budweiser's own history with the World Cup. Together, they offered a natural intersection of football nostalgia, sportswear and contemporary culture.
From there, we led conversations between both brands, shaping the partnership, aligning commercial objectives and negotiating a collaboration that delivered value for everyone involved.
Design & Development
Throughout the design process, we acted as Budweiser's cultural and brand guardian, ensuring every element of the collection remained authentic to the brand while translating successfully into apparel. Working alongside Kappa's creative team, we balanced Budweiser's global brand guidelines with the nuances of different European markets, helping navigate regional considerations without compromising the creative vision.
Beyond governance, we provided ongoing cultural insight and creative feedback, ensuring the collection felt relevant within both football and fashion communities while maintaining the integrity of each brand.
Creative Production
Following completion of the collection, we developed the creative direction for the campaign and oversaw production from concept through to delivery. The campaign was brought to life during a one-day shoot in Italy, where we captured both photography and video assets showcasing the collection across digital and social channels.
Working alongside local production partners, photographers and the wider creative team, we managed the end-to-end production process to deliver a suite of campaign assets that reflected the nostalgic spirit of the collaboration while elevating both brands within the cultural conversation.
