Approach
We developed a storytelling platform rooted in the idea that JBL speakers aren’t just products - they’re companions that move with you, amplifying every moment. Tapping into the intersection of wellness, fitness and creative culture, we crafted an experience designed to energise and inspire, while leaving our community feeling empowered and recharged. This led to the creation of +1 Run Club - a community-led running concept built for local creatives. Open to all abilities, the event encouraged participants to step outside, reset, and connect, powered by the JBL Flip 7 portable speaker. The ‘+1’ mechanic sat at the heart of the idea. Runners were invited to bring someone with them - whether introducing a friend to running for the first time, finding mutual motivation in a training partner, or sparking light competition on the move. Beyond the run itself, the format was designed to organically expand networks, encourage idea exchange and strengthen community ties.
Result
Our event coverage was built to extend the momentum of +1 Run Club in Berlin, translating the energy of the day into dynamic, multi-platform storytelling. Captured content was activated across the Hypebeast ecosystem, spanning editorial, display and organic and paid social to maximise reach and cultural relevance. Beyond owned channels, we collaborated with talent to produce authentic UGC, amplifying community voices and supporting the content through editorial integration to ensure it felt native, credible and considered.
