Ray-Ban x Hypebeast

Since its origins in the 1930s, Ray-Ban has designed and produced iconic eyewear silhouettes worn by figures shaping fashion, music, and culture. In honour of Hypebeast's 20th 'Platinum' anniversary, Ray-Ban and Hypebeast teamed up on a limited edition collaboration to celebrate the publisher's 20th anniversary.

Approach

In honour of Hypebeast's 20th 'Platinum' anniversary, we worked closely with Ray-Ban’s team to design and produce a special edition Mega Balorama wraparound sunglasses crafted from transparent grey propionate, accented with mirror lenses. The collaboration sat amongst a stellar lineup of collaborations that helped the publisher celebrate the milestone. As part of the collaboration, we captured a suite of lifestyle and product stills to activate across both our editorial platform and e-commerce platform, HBX. We also exhibited the collaboration at our Hypebeast Twenty New York Exhibition. 

Result

The campaign amassed a plethora of views and engagements across Hypebeast’s editorial, social and e-commerce platforms. The Hypebeast audience responded positively to the collaboration and the exhibition saw footfall KPIs being achieved.
